Dental implants are a safe and reliable solution to permanently replace one or more missing teeth. Looking, feeling and functioning like a natural tooth, a dental implant is a small screw made from surgical grade titanium that replaces the root portion of a missing tooth. This becomes the foundation for new replacement teeth, crown, or dental bridge.
At MP Dental we are proud to offer, as a private treatment, one of the most advanced and successful implant procedure in dentistry. The advantage of the CEREC 3 Guide system is that we can perform fully computer guided implant placement using our 'keyhole' implant surgery ensuring a comfortable and speedy experience for you, our patient.
Our fixed transparent fees of £2200 per implant include full assessment, CT scan, CEREC 3 Guide system, and crown.
When having Implant surgery, you can be assured that we don’t place any of our implants freehand or ‘blind’ – without seeing exactly where it is going. Our highly specialised software enables the implants to be planned using a Cone Beam CT scan, providing us with a 3D image of the jaw. This information is then used to construct a custom-made surgical guide for the precise placement of the implant using our in-house CEREC 3D CAD CAM technology.
This ensures that implants are placed with the utmost precision in the pre-planned area, making the procedure safer, quicker, predictable, reducing the need for bone grafts and ensuring that the whole experience is a lot more comfortable for our patients.
It also means we can place implants where we wouldn’t have done before we had this technology, so they can be available to patients who have suffered considerable bone loss.
In order to provide the most comprehensive, comfortable, pain free and precise dental implants, our fully trained and highly experienced dental surgeons use the most advanced computer guided implant surgery.
This Cone beam CT and computer guided implant surgery process makes it possible to view the overall anatomy of the jaw, teeth and surrounding tissues, helping the surgeons to know exactly where the implant is to be placed with the CEREC 3 surgical guide.
With the help of the latest CBCT scanner we first produce high resolution 3-D images of the soft tissues, bones and teeth in our patients mouth. The highly accurate reading provides the most precise and effective planning process for dental implant placement. The procedure is beneficial to the patient, ensuring a comfortable and speedy experience.
Digital Impression of the mouth where the implant is planned to be placed is captured with our state of the art CEREC Intra Digital scanner. This mouth scan is combined with the information from the Cone Beam CT scanner to produce an accurate 3D model of the jaws, soft tissues, and teeth.
Once we have this detailed information, with the help of highly specialised software from Dentsply Sirona we are able to create a 3D model of the jaw so we can ‘virtually’ place the implants in the optimum position.
The 3D model with the virtual placement is then utilised to manufacture a custom-made surgical drilling guide using our in-house CEREC CAD CAM technology.
Once the drilling guide is ready, our highly experienced surgeons use this to place the implant precisely where planned. The implant is then left to heal for approximately three months before placing the implant crown. Impression free, digital impressions taken for the construction of the final crown.

Dental implants are the ideal permanent way to replace any damaged or missing teeth – whether one single tooth, several teeth, or all of your teeth. As the jawbone should be fully matured for implant placement, it is advised that patients should be 18 years or over before treatment can start.
Our fixed transparent fees of £2200 per implant include full assessment, CT scan, CEREC 3 Guide system, and crown. Bone augmentation & bone grafting (if needed) will be based on assessment.
During the implant placement, you will be given a local anaesthetic. You may experience a small amount of discomfort for a few days afterwards but this will subside as healing should occur relatively quickly. Your dentist will advise on how to minimise any discomfort.
Yes, you can! Your implant supported teeth will be strong and secure so you will be able to eat, laugh and speak with complete confidence.
Your new teeth will look and feel like real teeth and they will require the same care as real teeth too. You should brush and floss your teeth as usual. Continue with regular routine check-ups as advised by your dentist
With regular care and cleaning, your dental implants should last you a lifetime.
