Composite bonding is a technique where resin is colour-matched, shaped and contoured onto your teeth to give the appearance of straighter, whiter smile. It can be used as a cosmetic solution for chipped teeth, gapped teeth and to hide staining on teeth. The treatment itself is very simple, and it can normally be done in just one simple appointment with your dentist. Unlike porcelain veneers, which require a reduction in tooth structure, composite bonding can be less invasive.
The treatment process first requires your dentist to match the colour of the composite resin with the rest of your teeth. This will ensure that the smile will be consistent and look as natural as possible. The surface of the tooth will then be roughened and coated with a bonding agent, on which the resin will adhere to. The resin will then be placed on to the area required and moulded into the correct shape. The finishing touches will consist of curing the composite resin and refining the tooth further.

At MP Dental we offer Pola Light teeth whitening treatment. This is an advance teeth whitening treatment with an LED mouthpiece for faster whitening.
We will be provide you with the tooth whitening kit that includes the whitening gel, LED mouthpiece and a portable charger so you can charge the mouthpiece.
We will show you how to fill the trays with the whitening gel which you will then need to wear for 20 minutes a day. The treatment is fast acting and many of our patient see results within as little as 5 days.
